Nancy Qualls-Corbett

Nancy Qualls-Corbett, PhD, is a Jungian analyst (retired). A diplomate from the CG Jung Institute Zurich, she began private practice in Birmingham, Alabama, in 1981. She is the author of two books: The Sacred Prostitute: Eternal Aspect of the Feminine and Awakening Woman: Dreams and Individuation. ​Nancy has led seminars in Italy, Greece and Egypt and has lectured throughout the United States and Canada and is a noted lecturer on Mary Magdalene, as well as Dionysus and the Villa of Mysteries. Even though now retired, her interest still continues in seeing the growth of the feminine principle in our world today. 

Lucy Magnus, MA

Lucie Magnus, MA, is a Senior Training Analyst and a member of the Training Committee of the Inter Regional Society of Jungian Analysts. She is on the faculty of the New Orleans Jungian Seminar. Lucie holds Alabama licenses as an LPC, an LPC supervisor, and an MFT. She presents on various topics from a Jungian perspective.

Melissa Werner, PhD

Melissa Werner, PhD, is a graduate of the CG Jung Institute, Zurich. She is the only practicing analyst for adults, children and adolescents in Alabama. Her thesis, "The Archetype of the Feral Child: The Feral Children of the Drug Epidemic," is being prepared for publication. For many years she was a teacher educator and has worked as a consultant for Head Start and children's programs across the US and in the Pacific Rim. She lectured at the UN NGO Committee on the Family on Play Therapy in Refugee Communities. She sees adults, adolescents and children in her private practice in Birmingham, AL.

Kathy Avsar, PhD

Kathy Avsar, PhD, is a licensed professional counselor, Jungian analyst, and member of the Interregional Society of Jungian Analysts. She is on the faculty of the New Orleans Jungian Seminar. She has a private practice in Birmingham where she works with individuals on their journey toward wholeness.
