This workshop is meant to supply you with real applicable skills, tools to facilitate your work with clients who had/have toxic parents. The origin of many of the issues that capture the minds and functioning capacity of our clients/patients often is found in the toxicity of interactions with toxic parents. This workshop will facilitate your ability to identify the toxic parent and the issues that are commonly held by the adult children of toxic parents. And it will offer not only a transpersonal view of the problem, but applicable skills to facilitate healing.

​OBJECTIVES
Upon successful completion of this workshop, participants will be able to:
  • Define the various kinds of toxic parent.
  • Explain, from a transpersonal perspective, the primal wound.
  • Identify some of the various identities that the child of the toxic parent might inhabit.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of some of the various tools and interventions that facilitate healing.
